Encampment

Visit Center Brook on the weekend of October 4th & 5th, 2024 for this amazing Living History experience. Big plans are being made to have both Artillery and Infantry units as well as a Field Hospital. No where else in NE Ohio or NW Pennsylvania can you see and learn about this in one location. The monies raised during this event go directly back into the restoration of Center Brook Manor and into our new big project! The construction of the George & Shirley Beck Civil War Learning Center.

We have multiple goals for our Encampment.

(1) - To educate to public on what life was like during the Civil War.

(2) - To educate the public on what Civil War battle injuries were and their treatment

(3) to display period Civil War artifacts

(4) to raise money for a permanent building to house our Civil War artifacts.
